Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has launched a unique version of the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4Matic+ facelift, called the Limited Edition. With only 10 units available in Malaysia and priced at RM558,888 on-the-road (excluding insurance), this model ensures its rarity is obvious through its striking design.

This Limited Edition stands out with its vivid AMG ‘Green Hell Mango’ exterior, a color previously featured on the AMG GT R, unlike last year’s darker Street Style Edition. The bold appearance is further highlighted by a prominent ’45 S’ decal on the doors and an eye-catching AMG crest on the bonnet, signaling its exceptional status.

The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S Limited Edition boasts a range of striking features that enhance its visual appeal. Its bold AMG ‘Green Hell Mango’ exterior is contrasted by vibrant yellow-orange accents and matte black 19-inch AMG forged wheels with a unique seven-twin-spoke design.

Additional details include an AMG-branded fuel cap, a door welcome light projecting the AMG coat of arms, and the AMG Aerodynamics, Night, and Night Package II. These packages feature black chrome accents on the fenders and tailgate, darkened radiator trim, and black door handles.

Inside, the theme continues with Artico/Microcut microfibre AMG performance seats, door trim, and instrument panel highlighted by yellow-orange accents. The front headrests sport embroidered yellow 45 S emblems, and the floor mats feature 45 S lettering with yellow stitching. Illuminated AMG door sills add a vibrant touch.

Mechanically, the Limited Edition retains the standard A 45 S’s powerful setup, including the M139 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, 8-speed AMG Speedshift 8G dual-clutch transmission, and 4Matic+ all-wheel drive, delivering 421 PS and 500 Nm of torque, with a 0-100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h.

The AMG A 45 S Limited Edition may not appeal to everyone, but it enhances exclusivity with its bespoke features and the limited run of just 10 units in Malaysia for RM559,000. Whether the approximately RM49,000 price increase is justified remains up for debate.
